About Susan
Susan has been painting for 30 years, studying with Nelson Shanks at the Art Students League in NYC and with Stephen Kennedy and Daniel Greene in New York State. She is a member of the Catherine Lorillard Art Club in NY, an exhibiting member of the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury, NJ and a Juried Associate of the Pastel Society of America. Susan is also a founding member of the Pastel Painters of New Jersey and a former faculty member at Artworks Trenton and Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ.
She teaches small group lessons out of her studio at Art Station in Hightstown, NJ. Her exhibitions have been featured in numerous juried group shows and one-person shows. She has paintings in the permanent collections of Bruce Springsteen, Senator John O. Bennett of New Jersey and has work exhibited in the White House. She is represented by Gallery 33 in Lambertville, NJ, The Euphemia Gallery and Frame in Hightstown, NJ and by The Essex Gallery of Fine Art in Montclair, NJ. Commissions for portraits of family and pets are always welcome.
